WE ARE A COMMUNITY THAT LEARNS & HAS FUN TOGETHER – JOIN US!
When you connect with Green Bay Trout Unlimited (GBTU) at one of dozens events we hold across the region annually, you’re stepping into a community that cares about the rivers in our region, brings people together to make a difference and learn new skills, and creates opportunities to have fun with like-minded anglers and conservationists.
Our community events are fun, friendly and low-pressure ways to have fun while doing good, growing your fishing skills and making new friends along the way. Each year we offer:
- Monthly chapter gatherings, often with a guest speaker on a range of conservation and fishing topics (October through April)
- Annual Awards Dinner / Holiday Party
- Social events such as chapter picnics, trout stockings, etc…
Last year, we hosted around a dozen events, bringing together hundreds of local anglers and conservationists to share stories, exchange ideas and knowledge, raise a pint, and more. Check out our calendar of events and join us!
MONTHLY CHAPTER GATHERINGS

On the FIRST Thursday of every month (from October through April) GBTU comes together at The Village Grille (801 Hoffman Rd. Green Bay, WI 54301) to share fishing stories, meet new people, and hear from informational and inspiring speakers on conservation or fishing topics. These fun, friendly, and free monthly events are low-pressure and open to the public. They are a great way to dip your toe into the TU community. Dinner and drinks (non-alcoholic) are provided by GBTU.
ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER / HOLIDAY PARTY

On the first Thursday in December (typically), GBTU holds our Annual Awards Dinner / Holiday Party. This is our opportunity to recognize outstanding chapter members and supporters for their efforts. At this event, we also treat our chapter members and their families to an all-you-can-eat buffet followed by awards.
TROUT STOCKINGS, CHAPTER PICNICS, TROUT EDUCATIONAL TRAIL

Throughout the year, we host a range of events designed to create fun, social opportunities for people who love fishing and caring for our rivers to come together. Community trout stockings, chapter picnics, and maintaining our Trout “Tails” Educational Trail are some examples of these activities.
