Friday, July 19th, 2013 - 3:00pm to Sunday, July 21st, 2013 - 11:00am

July 20-21, 2013 - Windham, NY

Join fellow anglers and TU volunteer leaders from across the Northeast on July 20 & 21 in the Catskill Mountains.

Who should attend? Anyone committed to building effective TU chapters and councils.

What will you learn? Opportunities abound to develop your governance skills and practices, discover solutions to your leadership challenges, and increase your understanding of the key trends and coldwater conservation issues impacting the Northeast. TU regional meetings are occasions to be inspired — by the work of TU staff, lessons from leaders and conversations with newfound friends.

Registration and Cost? The total cost is $125 and includes:

  • Participation in all seminars and workshops on Saturday and Sunday
  • Breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday
  • Barbecue dinner Saturday night

Schedule:

Friday, July 19: Optional Hosted Fishing Day
Enjoy an optional day of fishing on nearby Catskill streams. When registering, please indicate if you'd like to fish on Friday so that you may be paired with a host from Trout Unlimited's local Columbia Greene Chapter.

Saturday, July 20: Workshops, Seminars, and Evening Barbecue
The Northeast Regional Meeting is designed to provide TU volunteer leaders with valuable tools and skills you can bring home to help improve the effectiveness of councils and chapters. Saturday's full-day session will include group discussions, concentrated workshops and opportunities for council and chapter leaders to share successes and discuss common challenges.

Following Saturday's workshops, we will have an outdoor barbecue hosted at Windham Mountain.

Sunday, July 21: Workshops, Seminars, and Optional Afternoon of Fishing
Sunday will continue on Saturday's work and include further group seminars and workshops before we conclude the meeting with a lunch outside and a final wrap-up session. A detailed agenda will be provided soon.
